OUR TRAVELS ~ BLUE DOLPHIN HOLIDAY RESORT YAMBA NSW

It's obvious we love a weekend away. In fact, road trips, camping trips, farm stays, beach shack jaunts, overseas vacays - yep we love it all! But we have to say, we had one of the best weekends with our tribes recently at the Blue Dolphin Yamba.

We opted to stay in the self-contained cabins - which have a double bed and bunk beds and a bathroom - but the park also has tent sites and van sites as well as waterfront villas which overlook the river.

For families, the facilities are SO good - think barbecue facilities, multiple pools, water slides, kids cave, kids' water area including an epic rock slide and last but not least a SWIM-UP BAR serving up cocktails as well as beer and wine and treats for the kids.

The restaurant also is really decent with good old-school burgers, steaks, parmigiana and kids faves for an affordable price.

The Blue Dolphin is super close to Yamba town centre so you can do a coffee run to Leche Cafe in the morning - delicious brew - and be back to tackle the slides with your babes.

Honestly, none of us could stop smiling the entire time. We highly recommend it for an old-school good time with your tribe.
